Eket Solar Street Light

I want to believe that they can be a way of installing the SOLAR STREET LIGHT for it to last at least for five or six months before going permanently bad, in the case i recently look into, i realized that the Solar Street Light installed in
the streets of Eket in Akwa Ibom state did not last for long but have permanently gone blank, and i believe the contractor was paid heavily for the work with the state allocation, this is not a fair deal, there should be an alternative way for this, because the Solar street light was mostly aim at helping the poor but it goes bad even before the installer finishes the work just as that of the boreholes and other basic amenities put in place to help the ordinary man, but it's is so frustrating to say that most of the project awarded to this contractor are mostly not properly done especially when it has to do with serving the ordinary man in the street, I plead with the government to either look for an alternative way or the Solar System Street Light, or remove the poles from the street so that it will not start cursing accidents in the dark.
